Welcome back

10 Reasons Why You Should Subscribe To Email Promos, Opt-in lists and Newsletters

Over the past year or so I’ve subscribed to so many email promos opt-in lists and newsletters that I can’t even count.

At first I subscribed to email promos to get free stuff like ebooks and software but then I realized that this was also a fantastic way to learn about Internet Marketing. I started studying what these Internet Marketers were doing with their email marketing promotion. I learned a great deal by analysing what products they were promoting and their sales style.

I’m a strong believer in learning from the competition and what better way then have them right in your inbox.

I recommend that you too subscribe to as many email promos, newsletters and optin mailing lists that you find interesting.  Don’t forget to sign up for JV Giveaway Events as well. You’ll actually get some products that will help you with your online business.

One word of warning though: Do not use your primary email account as you’ll find it very difficult to separate your regular work from the email promos. Set up an Gmail account just for this purpose.

Once you sign up you’ll be asked to confirm your subscription and email address by Aweber or a similar emailing service. If you’re not familiar with Aweber, basically it is an email autoresponder service that also gives you the ability to create custom newsletters and email campaigns. These are reputable companies and do not tolerate spam.

I use Aweber myself for building and communicating to my list of subscribers.

One of the great things about subscribing to Email Promos, Optin lists and Newsletters run by Aweber or similar Autoresponder services is that you can unsubscribe at anytime. Just scroll to the end of the email and click on the Unsubscribe link.

10 Reasons Why You Should Subscribe To Email Promos, Opt-in lists and Newsletters

  1. Learn what products or services the competition is promoting.
  2. Find products that may have an Affiliate program that interests you.
  3. Obtain some valuable information about various aspects of Internet Marketing
  4. Keep up with new products available in the Internet Marketing world
  5. Learn how to presell affiliate products
  6. Able to analyze how the Marketer was delivering their message
  7. Learn how to use email promos to direct readers to take action
  8. Find good Marketers that earn your trust and ultimately your business
  9. Find bad Marketers that you cannot trust but are good at selling – beware.
  10. Build a list of trustworthy Marketers that could potentially become Joint Venture Partners.

Important Notes:

  • Sign up for a Gmail account to handle all your Email Promos, Optin List Subscriptions and Newsletters.
  • Keep your emails organized – Create 2 email swipe folders:
  • 1) Trust 2) Don’t Trust

Remember that you’ll also learn from the bad email promos as well. You can then refer to these swipe folders whenever you’re writing emails to your list to emulate the Marketers that are trusted.
So go ahead and subscribe to Email Promos, Opt-in lists and Newsletters and learn from your inbox.

Hey a good place to start is right here with my own newsletter. Not only will you get a free ebook but more importantly a 21 part ecourse on guess what - Email Marketing. It’s great content that I’m sure you’ll want to put in your Trust file.

Look for another post on what I’ve learned from my inbox soon.
