Top Traffic Tips Recording and Transcript Now Ready For Download

A few weeks ago I wrote about the Top Traffic Tips live teleseminar that was hosted by Doug Champigny and Willie Crawford. If you’re not familiar with Doug and Willie they are both highly respected Internet marketers with 25 years of online experience between them.

The subject of course was “Top Traffic Tips” and the seminar was scheduled to be 2 hours long, however these two guys ended up giving us over 3 hours of their valuable time and a wealth of quality traffic getting information.

I hope you were able to listen to the Top Traffic Tips seminar live. I did and learned a great deal about how to get free traffic to my sites, blogs, affiliate links and squeeze pages. Doug and Willie covered 14 different traffic tactics that they personally use in their own online businesses. They covered not only what the Top Traffic Tips are but how to implement them as well.

I’ve got to say though that there really was way too much information to take in at one time. There’s no way anybody could remember all the free ways of getting traffic that Willie and Doug discussed during the 3 hour call.

I’m happy to report that the 3 hour recording and the 70 page transcript (70 pages!) is now available for download. If you missed the call and even if you were on the call this is something that you should get and study. This is a great deal of information that you’ll be able to use for years to come.

The beautiful thing about having the seminar as a recording and transcript is that you can use it at your own pace. Let’s face it there’s no possible way to learn and implement all these traffic tips at once and nor should you, that would just result in information overload.

Now having said that, once you’ve mastered the first traffic tip there’s no reason that you can’t keep using that particular one in conjunction with the next traffic tip you choose.

This is how I plan to use my copy and I recommend you do something similar:

The Recording:

  1. listen to the recording on my iPod while driving
  2. listen to the recording on my iPod while exercising

The Transcript:

  1. print it out (a must for me)
  2. read the whole thing – once only
  3. decide which traffic tactic to learn and implement first
  4. read that section a number of times
  5. create a plan and set a goal (must be specific)
  6. take action by implementing that particular tactic
  7. Don’t rush to the next tactic – make sure the first one is well under way
  8. Decide which tactic to learn and implement next
  9. repeat 1 – 7

The combination of having the recording and transcript really works for me. I find that I pick up different things from each resource. I suggest you print out the transcript and make notes so you can refer to them at any time.

Here are the subjects that are covered in the 3 hour seminar

Willie Crawford discusses

  • Article Marketing
  • Video Marketing
  • Using podcasts
  • Press Releases
  • Forum Marketing
  • Blog Talk Radio
  • JVs & Affiliatestop-traffic-tips

Doug Champigny discusses

  • Blog Marketing
  • Web 2.0 Sites
  • Twitter Marketing
  • Giveaways
  • E-Zine Swaps
  • Teleseminars
  • Viral E-Books

I personally will start with Article Marketing. It’s an area that I know is very powerful for getting quality back links and long term traffic but I’ve been putting it off. I’ll listen to recording, read the transcript, create a plan and implement what I learn.

You too can download your own copy of Top Traffic Tips by clicking here and start learning and applying the same tactics that these 2 successful Internet Marketers use to get targeted traffic.

Seven Simple Tips to Stay on Task

Seven Simple Tips to Stay on Task

Do you have a difficult time staying on task? If you feel as though you’re spending a whole day just trying to get started, while never actually getting anything done, you can do something about it!

There are some very simple ways to help you regain your focus and stay on task, no matter what the day brings. In fact, some of these strategies are so simple that you may question whether they really are effective. The truth is, the simplest of strategies often yields the greatest result.

Here are seven simple tips you can use to help you stay on task:

1.      Keep a list. Create a daily task list on paper for your whole day or week. If you think creating a list in your mind is just as effective, think again. The truth is, you’re more likely to waste precious time just trying to remember what’s ahead!

  • When you take the time to create a list, you’re giving yourself a visual confirmation of what’s next. When you have a list to refer to, there’s no arguing what comes next and you won’t have any excuse to stray from your plan.

2.      Schedule time for meetings and events. Set up specific times when people can come in and interrupt your work. Let your co-workers know what works for you and strive to stick to it as much as possible.

  • For example, it’s often helpful if your co-workers know they need to leave you alone for two or three hours in the morning, but then after that they can come in and ask questions or get advice from you as needed.

3.      Refuse to check email every five seconds. If you interrupt your workday by checking your email too frequently, you can get side tracked just as you are building momentum. Set specific times when you check email. It could be twice a day, or every few hours, but the goal is to eliminate unnecessary distractions.

  • You can also send an automated reply that explains when you check email and when the sender should expect a response. I’m sure people can wait a few hours for a response!

4.      Schedule your time for Facebook, Twitter and instant messaging services. Sure, communicating with your friends and customers is important, but it distracts you from the task at hand and keeps you from building precious momentum.

5.      Use headphones to block out noise. If you have trouble focusing on your work because of the noise around you, wear a pair of noise-canceling headphones. If you don’t want any sound at all, get some earplugs; it’ll save your sanity!

6.      Get a comfortable chair. Did you know that productivity and comfort go hand-in-hand? It’s true. Having a comfortable chair makes a huge difference in how you think, feel, and perform. If a new chair is out of the budget, get one of those chair cushions. You’ll find that it’s a purchase that pays for itself.

7.      Clean up your workspace. When your desk is clean and organized, it’s much easier to stay focused on the task at hand. Why? Because you don’t have to wade through the stacks and clutter to find what you need.

  • Even seeing the piles of junk in your peripheral vision may increase your internal tension! Keep only what you need for your current task and put everything else in its place.

Do you think you can implement some of these simple tips in your workflow? I know you can!

You’ll experience a huge difference in your productivity and – more importantly – your happiness, when you apply even just a few of these time-saving techniques. You’ll be able to get more done faster than ever, leaving you with time for more important things, like having fun!
