Monetize Your Blogs With Automated Ads

In a previous post Expert WordPress Video Review I shared with you a free SEO ready and secure WordfPress installer that you can install in just 3 clicks.

Today I have another free service that will help you monitize your blog.

It’s the new Automated Advertising “Bot”…

It’s a system to automate your advertising by getting more traffic to the ads that are profitable for you…automatically.

This is actually pretty cool, you’re going to love it.

  • What IS Automated Ads and what can it do?

It’s a site preloaded with banners for the different categories at ClickBank. You simply plug in your ClickBank ID, and the system generates banners all pointing to your affiliate link.

Once you have selected your category, size of banner, and number of banners to rotate, Automated Ads does the rest. Banners are shown based on their performance which makes your campaigns more and more profitable over time.

Another really cool feature is Automated Ads will automatically test out new popular ClickBank products as they are added to ClickBank for you.

So once you set this up, you never have to worry about which offers are converting for you or not, nor do you have to continually monitor what ClickBank has to offer. Affiliate marketing couldn’t get any easier!

  • How much does it cost?

Here’s the best part…right now it’s free.

The downside to the free application, however, is that you can’t rotate any of your own banners to your own sites, or banners to sites not currently in the program.

The upside is that you can upgrade your account and have free reign at adding whatever banners you want. Plus, you’ll also get 4 other scripts and software tools that allow you to automate your traffic, and ultimately your sales!

Anyway, you can check it out here: Automated Ads

Power Start 2010 – Starting an Online Business The Right Way

Starting an online business should be easy and fast right? At least that’s what you see promoted online.  Just do a search for “how to make money online” and you’ll be greeted with many offers claiming that you can make money online quickly with no money invested and get this “no experience required”.

There is no magic bullet.  Any business takes education, planning, hard work and perseverance. Internet Marketing is a business and needs to be treated as such but these offers are so enticing for new people wanting to start an online business that it’s very easy to jump right in.

It doesn’t take long though to realize that it’s not an overnight venture and many go to the next magic bullet or give up all together which is unfortunate because if done properly an online business can become very profitable.

Starting an online business is really not that difficult if you’re committed to learning about the business, creating a plan and taking action to implement your plan.  This does take some time so don’t quit your day job yet. When I say committed I mean setting aside a couple of hours a day with a detailed plan and focusing only on your plan – don’t get sidetracked with anymore “magic bullets”.  Realize that it will take time and effort on your part to reach success online.

So the question is where do you start? If I were to start all over again I would have done my research and found a good mentor and coaching program.

I can hear you now “but that costs money and there’s no guarantee of success”.

I thought the same thing and instead getting coaching I spent money on  ebooks and programs that promised I could make money online quickly.  Not only that but I wasted many months trying to learn the business on my own.  In the long run it ended up costing me much more in money and time.

As they say hindsight is 20/20.  If only I knew then what I know now.

So in my experience I was one of the people who persisted but almost gave up because I was getting overwhelmed with information (information overload) and was just jumping from one thing to another.

I was fortunate enough to find a mentor in Doug Champigny.  I met Doug first through his newsletters and then on Twitter of all places.  With his guidance, direction and friendship I began to learn what needed to be done and how to do it.  I became focused on growing my online business.

Doug Champigny is a very successful Internet Marketer and Speaker who enjoys helping people but most importantly is an excellent teacher.

I’m very excited that Doug has recently announced a new coaching program Power Start 2010.

It’s a 4 week intensive course that will challenge you every step of the way to get your online business up and running by the end of the 4 weeks.

Let’s be clear, this course is not for everyone.  Like I said earlier it takes total commitment on your part, you will need to follow instructions and do the “work” every week so you can be ready for the next week’s lesson.

If you are committed to start building a successful online business then I highly recommend Power Start 2010.

The program will be on Monday evenings starting on February 1st,

Here’s a short summary of what you can expect:

  • Live Teleseminar with follow up question period (Doug will stay on as long as there are question)
  • Recordings of the calls will be made available – if you can’t attend live
  • Step by step process map for each activity
  • Step by step videos for each activity (showing you HOW to not just What to do)

So if you’re serious about starting an online business the right way sign up today for the February 1st session.

Check out the no-hype sales page for more details and judge for yourself Power Start 2010

I’ve already signed up and hope to see you there – start your online business on the right foot.

A Different Christmas Poem

A Different Christmas Poem

I received this poem in an email from a customer a few weeks ago and it did not get opened. The subject line had nothing to do with Internet Marketing or about business at all so I put it aside to read later.

The only reason I came across it again today is because I was cleaning out my inbox. I almost deleted it but for some reason actually opened and read the whole thing.

Needless to say it really made me stop and think about the sacrifices our men and women in the Military make for us on a daily basis.

We sometimes take our Military men and women for granted and it’s at times like these when we’re all planning to celebrate the holidays with our families that we should take some time out of our busy schedules to think of our heroes past and present, living and dead and thank them for all they do to keep peace in the world.

Please feel free to substitute the Country as it may apply to you.

A Different Christmas Poem
By Michael Marks

The embers glowed softly, and in their dim light,
I gazed round the room and I cherished the sight.
My wife was asleep, her head on my chest,
My daughter beside me, angelic in rest.

Outside the snow fell, a blanket of white,
Transforming the yard to a winter delight.
The sparkling lights in the tree I believe,
Completed the magic that was Christmas Eve.

My eyelids were heavy, my breathing was deep,
Secure and surrounded by love I would sleep.
In perfect contentment, or so it would seem,
So I slumbered, perhaps I started to dream.

The sound wasn’t loud, and it wasn’t too near,
But I opened my eyes when it tickled my ear.
Perhaps just a cough, I didn’t quite know,
Then the sure sound of footsteps outside in the snow.

My soul gave a tremble, I struggled to hear,
And I crept to the door just to see who was near.
Standing out in the cold and the dark of the night,
A lone figure stood, his face weary and tight.

A soldier, I puzzled, some twenty years old,
Perhaps a Marine, huddled here in the cold.
Alone in the dark, he looked up and smiled,
Standing watch over me, and my wife and my child.

“What are you doing?” I asked without fear,
“Come in this moment, it’s freezing out here!
Put down your pack, brush the snow from your sleeve,
You should be at home on a cold Christmas Eve!”

For barely a moment I saw his eyes shift,
Away from the cold and the snow blown in drifts..
To the window that danced with a warm fire’s light
Then he sighed and he said “Its really all right,

I’m out here by choice. I’m here every night.”
“It’s my duty to stand at the front of the line,
That separates you from the darkest of times.
No one had to ask or beg or implore me,
I’m proud to stand here like my fathers before me.

My Gramps died at ‘ Pearl on a day in December,”
Then he sighed, “That’s a Christmas ‘Gram always remembers.”
My dad stood his watch in the jungles of ‘ Nam ‘,
And now it is my turn and so, here I am.

I’ve not seen my own son in more than a while,
But my wife sends me pictures, he’s sure got her smile.
Then he bent and he carefully pulled from his bag,
The red, white, and blue… an American flag.

“I can live through the cold and the being alone,
Away from my family, my house and my home.
I can stand at my post through the rain and the sleet,
I can sleep in a foxhole with little to eat.

I can carry the weight of killing another,
Or lay down my life with my sister and brother..
Who stand at the front against any and all,
To ensure for all time that this flag will not fall.”

“So go back inside,” he said, “harbor no fright,
Your family is waiting and I’ll be all right.”
“But isn’t there something I can do, at the least,
“Give you money,” I asked, “or prepare you a feast?

It seems all too little for all that you’ve done, For
being away from your wife and your son.”
Then his eye welled a tear that held no regret, “
Just tell us you love us, and never forget.

To fight for our rights back at home while we’re gone,
To stand your own watch, no matter how long.
For when we come home, either standing or dead,
To know you remember we fought and we bled.

Is payment enough, and with that we will trust,
That we mattered to you as you mattered to us.

I hope you enjoyed it. It sure made me think!

Merry Christmas to you and your families and if you don’t celebrate Christmas I also wish you a happy, healthy and safe Holiday.
